December 20, 2000. It was at cousin Aela's wedding that Fynn &
Gladys met for the first time. He admits he was instantly smitten
by her radiance that evening.
A few weeks passed before they had their first date. It was then that
she had a good look at him. Physically, "he's okay", she
says. It was the start of a beautiful year of discovering each other's
qualities.
On
the 31st of December 2001, Fynn with his sister Cecil, brother
Noel, and auntie Mely, came to the Lejarde residence in Pasig
to perform the customary "Pamanhikan" to formally ask
for Gladys' hand in marriage.
